Marco Benassi has terminated his contract at Fiorentina by mutual consent.

The midfielder, 29, was available this summer, but no serious offers arrived.

As such, with the summer market shut, it was mutually agreed for Benassi to be released from his Viola deal.

Benassi can now move to another club as a free agent.

He originally joined Fiorentina in 2017 from Torino for €12m.
