Vito Mannone has signed a new contract wth Sunderland.
The Italian goalkeeper has penned a two-year deal with the Black Cats which will keep him with the north east club until the summer of 2018.
28-year-old Mannone joined the Wearside outfit from Arsenal in 2013 and has tallied 69 appearances since his arrival at the Stadium of Light.
Mannone, who has also spent time with Barnsley and Hull City, follows striker Jermain Defoe and left-back Patrick van Aanholt as the the third senior player to commit himself to Sunderland this summer.
