Mario Mandzukic is delighted with his move to Atletico Madrid.
The former Bayern Munich striker was unveiled to the local media yesterday.
Mandzukic said: "I know the players, I'm convinced that they're all great players and I'm delighted with the coach (Diego Simeone).
"I'm really pleased that 'el Cholo' will be my new coach. I know his footballing past, he was a great player. He shows the same as a coach, he lives football 100%. We are quite similar."
Asked about former coach Pep Guardiola, Mandzukic said that he "does not want to return to the past. Right now my world is Atlético Madrid".
