Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini hopes Yaya and Kolo Toure come back to the club with only winning on their minds.
The pair experienced defeat with Ivory Coast in the quarter-final of the African Cup of Nations, losing 2-1 to Nigeria, and Mancini wants them back and ready for action as City look to defend their Premier League title.
"I am sorry for Yaya and Kolo but I hope they come back very angry and they can play well for us," said Mancini.
City are currently nine points behind neighbours Manchester United ahead of Saturday's trip to Southampton.
