Mancini rules out sale of Man City's Balotelli

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says there is no way the club will sell Mario Balotelli.

The 21-year old firebrand came of age in last night's euro2012 semi-final, scoring a match-winning brace, as Italy made their way into the final with a 2-1 win over Germany.

The performance was certainly not lost on Mancini who has ruled out the possibility of offloading the former Inter Milan man this summer.

"I am very happy for Mario, he has shown his great value and I hope he wins the European Championship," Mancini told Rai Sport.

"I think we absolutely will not sell Balotelli.

"The club has never thought about selling a player they have invested heavily in.

"Mario is a young player, the City fans love him, and I think it is highly unlikely that he will leave."
