Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini is delighted with their swoop last week for Lukas Podolski and Xherdan Shaqiri. Both players cited Mancini's presence as an influence on their decision.

"I told them that we are a big club and there are few like us. We have a big appeal. Perhaps others see a club in difficulty, but the new arrivals can help us get back to the top. Juan Jesus will be out for many games, so we'll see if we can do something in defence too."
