Mancini expects Man City stay: Family set to arrive

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is moving his family over from Italy in the summer - in a sure sign he expects to remain in charge next season.

Mancini claimed such is the backing he has from City owner Sheikh Mansour and his team, he will be in charge next season - with his family joining him in Manchester.

"I was called and asked to take Manchester City to success in the Premier League and I am working 18 hours a day to reach this objective," said Mancini. "I have won everywhere that I have coached and City will win as well. I miss my family, who have stayed in Bologna.

"But they will be joining me after the summer and we will look for a house in the centre, and I will no longer be alone. The team needs to grow. We are looking for a Champions League place as a starting point.

"But I have only just arrived, so the project has just begun. At the moment I am thinking only of City and I will stay here for several years.

"But one day I would like to return to Italy and coach the national team."
