Roberto Mancini is again in the frame for the Portsmouth job.
The Daily Express says Mancini, the former Inter Milan coach, has emerged as a strong contender to become manager of Portsmouth.
When prospective owner Sulaiman Al Fahim has completed his takeover of Pompey, he is expected to move for a high-profile manager to replace Paul Hart, who took over in February on a contract only until the end of the season.
Mancini would fit the bill and he said: "I'm ready to return to management."
