Sir Alex Ferguson has praised the efforts of Celtic striker Scott McDonald. The Aussie scored a superb goal in the 13th minute of the UEFA Champions League clash with Manchester United.

It was a goal that had everybody talking, including the great manager.

"I made the point before the game that Celtic had scored a fantastic goal against us through Shunsuke Nakamura to beat us two years ago," Ferguson told The Scotsman, "and they went and scored another one tonight. It was fantastic control and composure by the lad (McDonald)."
