Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson admits he's amazed by his progress over the last 12 months.
"This time last year, I was sub for Wolves so I think I've come a long way since then," said the Manchester United and Republic of Ireland midfielder.
"The chance that I got with Ireland has helped me on the club front.
"He [Sir Alex Ferguson] has said that he's pleased at the way I'm going and just to keep doing what I'm doing."
Gibson brushes off the set-backs of United's recent defeats against Liverpool and Fulham. "Everyone has a bad patch, ours has just come at the wrong time," he said. "We'll be all right."
