Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher won't be travelling to Japan with the Scotland squad.
Fletcher and Tottenham full-back Alan Hutton have been replaced in George Burley's already depleted squad by Norwich's Stephen Hughes and Don Cowie of Watford.
Hughes and Cowie will join with the rest of the squad in London for the flight to the Far East.
