Man Utd's Ferdinand pushing sons into football

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand hopes for his sons to make it as footballers.

Rio's brother Anton currently plays for relegation strugglers Sunderland while his cousin Les enjoyed a successful career with QPR, Newcastle and Spurs. And Ferdinand wants his sons to follow in their footsteps.

"It's my dream for my sons to become footballers," Ferdinand told the Daily Mail. "I try not to push them too hard but I've got Lorenz training every day in the morning and afternoons! I see more kids in my future. Hopefully more boys. I've got four sisters so there's enough girls in my family!"
