Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is determined to bounce back to his best on Sunday at Liverpool.
Ferdinand is under fire for mistakes with both club and country.
But he told The Sun: "I'm man enough and big enough to deal with it but the person I take the most notice of is the manager.
"People are allowed to criticise and make comments. Every time I get criticism I come out in the end a better player. I'm sure it will happen again."
England boss Fabio Capello revealed he twice talked to Rio about his performance.
Asked if he was going through one of the lowest points of his career, Ferdinand said: "You must be joking. No, not at all."
