Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra knows he's playing in the best competition in the world.
"Now I hope Manchester United and Chelsea show that in the final of the Champions League. When I arrived a lot of people told me football in England is just 'kick the ball away' but now I laugh because the football is the best in the world.
"To have four teams in the quarter-finals is unbelievable and I think you have to congratulate all of English football."
Evra has one year left on his contract and his agent is due to talk to United soon about a new deal.
For the moment, though, he does not want to be distracted from his big date in Russia.
Evra added: "A meeting is due but for now I'm concentrating on winning the Champions League."
