Manchester United defender Jonny Evans says the hype surrounding teenage striker Danny Welbeck is well justified.
He told manutd.com: "I've known about Danny for a few years now. I've always followed him because my brother Corry is the same age as him and has always played in the same matches. I used to watch them all the time, so I know what Danny Welbeck's got. He has a great touch, great skill and awareness and he was always outstanding whenever I saw him - you could always tell there was something about him.
"Plus I was always hearing from my brother and the coaches that Danny was going to be a brilliant player. There's a lot of hype around Danny, but I think it will be justified. I was out on loan when he made his way into the first team picture, but from what I hear all the first team players have been impressed by him and they all seem to like him."
