Manchester United full-back Guillermo Varela is unhappy at manager Louis van Gaal, according to reports from The Sun.

Varela has struggled for regular minutes on the pitch at United and it was believed that the Uruguayan youngster was set for a loan move away during the January transfer window, with Genoa said to be interested.

However, such a move evidently did not come into fruition and now according to reports, Varela is said to be unhappy at van Gaal for blocking his prospective transfer to Italy as he gets set to spend more time on the bench or in the reserves.
