The versatile full-back, who impressed in a midfield role during the Reservesâ€™ 4-0 defeat of Bolton Wanderers in the Manchester Senior Cup, feels he learned a lot in a short space of time with the Cumbrians.
â€śI went there and initially it was supposed to be until 1 January but injuries held me back from that,â€ť he explained to MUTV. â€śBut I gained a lot of experience from it, especially playing against men. Even though it was only two games, itâ€™s still first-team experience and it was very good being in and around that environment.
â€śIt was good to see what other facilities are like - especially compared to United.
"Carlisle donâ€™t have their own training ground or gym so youâ€™ve got to adapt. Itâ€™s a very big learning curve.â€ť
