Man Utd yet to make contact for Brooks as Bournemouth state asking price

Manchester United are considering a move for David Brooks from Bournemouth.

The young winger is available after the Cherries were relegated last season.

And the Manchester Evening News reports that United may go for Brooks if their pursuit of Jadon Sancho fails.

The Red Devils have yet to make contact with Bournemouth, who are seeking £40m for the Wales international.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants a winger for the first team, and the 23-year-old is seen as the cut price alternative to the younger Sancho.

United prefer the latter, but Borussia Dortmund want 120 million euros, which United may not be able to afford.
