Man Utd winger Garnacho slammed as 'ugly, childish' for penalty spot controversy

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has been slammed for his actions at the end of last night's dramatic Champions League win against FC Copenhagen.

United pulled off the 1-0 win thanks to Andre Onana's 97th minute save to deny Jordan Larsson from the penalty spot.

But not before Garnacho was seen scuffing up the penalty spot amid FCK protests.

Watching on was former Arsenal midfielder Kim Kallstrom, who slammed the Argentina international's actions: "What an ugly type.

"Ahh, I don't know... That's so childish. It's such a baby level."

TV 4 host Olof Lundh then responded by suggesting Garnacho should face a punishment for his actions.

United manager Erik ten Hag later said: "I didn't see it. The referee probably didn't see it either. I don't know."
