Manchester United starlet Tahith Chong has returned to Birmingham City to continue his loan move, the Premier League club has confirmed.

Chong, 22, briefly returned to United for treatment after undergoing surgery on a thigh tendon in early November.

The Dutch forward has now completed his rehabilitation and has returned to Birmingham for the remainder of the season.

He had started in 13 out of a possible 14 games in the Championship prior to his injury.

"We have missed him [Chong] badly," Bowyer said last month.

"Just what he brings us in the final third. He gets us up the pitch and creates so many problems. We have missed that type of player, for sure, and his work-rate."
