Manchester United's board will stand by manager David Moyes. The Daily Star says bookmakers last night slashed the odds on Moyes being the next Premier League manager to be axed in the wake of United's Champions League defeat at Olympiacos.
But despite mounting pressure on Moyes, United bosses insist his future is not even on the agenda.
Indeed, sources insist the under-fire Scot will not be sacked and will be given as long as it takes to turn things round at Old Trafford.
A senior club source said: "He has the club's full backing. Talk of him leaving is absolute rubbish, total nonsense.
"This is a period of transition and the manager will be given as long as it takes to rebuild the team."
