Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is desperate to offer Carlos Tevez and Ji-Sung Park new contracts before the end of the season, as an alternative to venturing into the transfer market. Tevez is approaching the end of his current two-year loan deal, whilst Park moves into the final year of his current contract next season.
