United's U21s managed their first win over City on Monday, having previously lost to City by a 12-1 aggregate margin in their last two meetings.

Both City and United had put out very strong teams for the game, given it was a derby.

However, Ethan Wheatley and Tom Huddlestone grabbed the goals for United in a 2-1 success.

City did get one back through Stephen Mfuni, while United had Samuel Mather sent off in the 79th minute.
