Feyenoord right-back Rick Karsdorp is a target for Manchester United.

The Sunday Mirror says they will make a move for highly rated Feyenoord full-back Karsdorp in the January transfer window.

Although Old Trafford boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to wait until the summer to make his next big signings he has made right back Karsdorp a priority once the window opens.

Mourinho has been pleased with Antonio Valencia's displays in that position but knows the Ecuador international is not a natural full-back.

He sees 21-year-old Karsdorp as the long term future in that role and will try and tempt Feyenoord to part with the player next month with a bid in the region of £15 million.
