Man Utd turn to ex-Newcastle striker Rondon

Manchester United have turned their attention towards Salomon Rondon after completing a move for Bruno Fernandes.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted to leave this transfer window with a new midfielder and striker.

He now has a midfielder in Fernandes, and The Times says Rondon is his preferred target up front.

The Venezuelan left Newcastle United for Dalian Yifang last summer.

But United could have a chance to sign Rondon on loan as the Chinese Super League has cancelled the start date of the new season because of the escalation of the coronavirus epidemic.
