Manchester United are watching Fulham's England youth international Matthew Briggs.
The News of the World says United are looking to sign the teenager, having already brought in Chris Smalling from Craven Cottage for a fee believed to be in the region of £10 million.
The 19-year-old defender only recently made his first start, against Chelsea, and is regarded highly inside English football.
