Man Utd to trigger contract options for defensive pair

Manchester United will trigger contract extensions for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof in the coming weeks.

The club want to ensure both players have at least one year remaining on their deals when the season ends.

Wan-Bissaka is one who United hope to tie down to a long-term deal, but they will trigger his extension to protect the club.

Lindelof is another, per ESPN, who does have a future at United under Erik ten Hag.

However, the club have a lot of thinking to do regarding Anthony Martial, as the forward may be one who leaves when the season ends.

The issue for United is that no serious offers have come in for Martial, other than one proposal from Saudi Arabia.
