Man Utd to send away several youngsters on-loan in January

Manchester United plan to release several youngsters on-loan in January.

The Manchester Evening News says United have received numerous initial inquiries about the availability of their best young players and will continue to evaluate their options before the window reopens next year.

United centre-backs Teden Mengi and Di'Shon Bernard are both actively looking to secure loan moves during the winter window after both of them missed out on summer exits due to injury.

Mengi revealed this week that he wants to leave the club on loan again after spells at Derby and Birmingham, and Bernard wants more meaningful minutes after impressing at Salford and Hull.

It is also understood that Charlie Savage will likely leave the club on loan as he looks to take the next step in his career by getting his first proper taste of professional football.
