Manchester United are being linked with a sensational swoop for Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller.
According to Sport1.de, the Red Devils are pondering a £58million offer for the German forward who reportedly had a run-in with manager Pep Guardiola this week.
Muller was mentioned in a potential swap deal involving Arjen Robben and cash for Angel Di Maria but it now seems that United want him outright.
Louis van Gaal has instructed United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to go after world-class quality this summer and it is believed that he will hold talks with Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge regarding a potential deal.
