Manchester United are set to table a €50m cash offer for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele this week.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given the green light to the bid, reports Foot Mercato, after receiving a glowing report on Dembele following Lyon's French Cup win at Nantes on the weekend. Dembele scored in the 3-4 thriller.
United will slap in a cash offer of €50m, hoping it will be enough for OL to sell.
Already this month, OL have rejected a €40m bid from Chelsea and a swap proposal involving Victor Wanyama from Tottenham for Dembele.
At the same time, United have also sounded out RB Leipzig for Timo Werner, but have received little encouragement.
