Manchester United have slapped a £5 million price-tag on young striker Fraizer Campbell.

The Mirror says Hull City would be willing to make a huge down payment and give United bonuses up to £5m or even take Campbell on loan for a year - at a huge rental cost that would come off the eventual fee in a full-time transfer.

Tigers boss Phil Brown believes Campbell could be the difference between keeping Hull in the Premier League, or sinking without trace, and his money men are working on ways of smashing their record deal to get the player.
