Lazio ace Stefan de Vrij has said that he's learned a lot during his time at the Serie A club.
The Dutch defender, who is a reported target for Manchester United, has tried to downplay any talk of a possible exit but insists that he has taken a step towards a big move in his career.
He told De Telegraaf: "I think I have made a great step forward in Serie A in my debut season.
"People say I've changed my style of play since moving to Italy, which is almost true.
"I analyse my performance in every game, as I can correct mistakes in the next games.
"Dirk Kuyt, Robin Van Persie, Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben all told me that you can learn many things while playing abroad.
"I am feeling the truth on those words at this moment."
The 23-year old was signed by Lazio from Feyenoord for an undisclosed fee last summer.
