Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis believes star striker Edinson Cavani is worth in excess of £89million. The 24-year old Uruguay international, who has been linked with Manchester United recently, would only be sold from Napoli if it were a world-record fee indicates De Laurentiis.
"They would have to revoke my president's licence if I sold Cavani for less than 100m [£89m]," he told Radio Marte.
"Plus, he would have to be annoyed as he is not worth that little. He is worth much more than what those in England have been writing."
Cavani has attracted plenty of attention from around Europe after he scored 26 goals in 35 matches for Napoli last season following his move from Palermo.
