Manchester United are stepping up their search for left back cover for the coming months.

The Red Devils have been rocked by the news that both Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw could be out for months.

Per The Mail, United have submitted a £2.5 million loan bid for Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella.

The flyer is out of favor at the Stamford Bridge club, despite signing for a mega fee a year ago.

Cucurella, who is not wanted by boss Mauricio Pochettino, is eager to move to United.

Chelsea are happy to engage in talks, but will want a £5 million loan fee at the minimum.
