Manchester United have tabled a bid for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.

And in response, Inter are offering the centre-back a new contract.

He was snapped up from Sampdoria a year ago for €30m plus Gianluca Caprari and that proved to be a bargain, as he has been a rock in the Nerazzurri defence.

Still only 23, Skriniar took part in all 38 Serie A games, plus two in the Coppa Italia, scoring four goals.
