Manchester United's start to the season is their worst in 26 years.
United were defeated 3-0 by Tottenham at Old Trafford, meaning they have picked up only three points from their opening three games of the 2018-19 league season.
The last time the Red Devils lost two of their opening three games of a campaign was all the way back in 1992-93, reports the Daily Mail, but what was to come was the start of unprecedented success for the club.
Despite the poor start during the 1992-93 campaign, United ended their 26-year championship drought after picking up a very impressive 84 points.
In that season, Sir Alex Ferguson's side lost their opening game 2-1 to Sheffield United and then lost 3-0 to Everton in their first home match.
