Manchester United have rocked Manchester City by swooping for their Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Fernando.
The Daily Mail says Fernando has snubbed a scholarship with Manchester City and is now set to join Manchester United.
The 16-year-old, who joined City in March 2012 from Sporting Lisbon, is an exciting attacking midfield player and it is understood that City were keen to keep Fernando at the club.
United are expected to offer Fernando terms to sign for the club and in doing so, the midfielder will become the first youth signing of the David Moyes era at Old Trafford.
