Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has declared himself a "strawberry".

During his interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo had a light-hearted exchange while discussing criticism he has received from former team-mates.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner compared himself to a fruit.

Ronaldo said: "[It's] not only because I play good football. The rest is relevant. You have to be charismatic, people have to feel some connection with you. I think to be good looking helps too.

"I think I'm charismatic. I'm a fruit that people want to bite… let's say a strawberry"
