Anthony Martial was on hand to help France share the spoils against Ukraine on Sunday.
Mykola Shaparenko put Ukraine ahead with an excellent 44th-minute strike into the top corner from 20 yards.
But the visitors were able to get things back on an even keel when Martial netted in the 50th minute.
The Manchester United striker bundled in from close-range for only his second international goal - and first since 2016.
Moussa Diaby almost won the game for France, but hit the post from Karim Benzema's pass.
Les Bleus are top of Group D with 9 points, four ahead of Finland, who they will play on Tuesday.
