Man Utd striker Lukaku: Martinez knows best

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku had no problem being rested for Belgium's World Cup win over England.

Lukaku insists he's not bothered about winning the tournament's Golden Boot.

"I understood straight away what the manager's plan was," he said. “The manager and I communicate really well and I knew he wanted to make some changes.

“I had a slight injury, but nothing serious. There is a ligament on the outside of my ankle and I tweaked it a little bit, so it was really a tight feeling when I did it and I couldn't continue against Tunisia.

“But the day before the England game, I did some sprints and told the manager I was OK for the bench. I'll be 100 per cent for Monday, with the treatment."
