Man Utd striker Keane enjoyed QPR experience

Manchester United striker Will Keane has no regrets over his loan spell last season at QPR.

Keane feels he's now returning to his best form with United's U21s.

"I think, at that point, I was so anxious to go and play and, when you have offers from big clubs like QPR, who were going for promotion, it was difficult to turn down," he told manutd.com. "The move happened on deadline day but the offer came about a few weeks before and we'd talked about it. I just felt it was a good opportunity and I was always going to back myself. I thought if I went there and did well, it would only look good on me. "

While he failed to score and did not appear in QPR's play-off final victory at Wembley against Derby County, he was still able to enjoy the occasion.

"It was still a good experience," he insisted. "I played quite a bit and still got a play-off winners' medal in the end. I came close to scoring in the first few games I played and hit the woodwork a few times. If maybe I'd have scored, it would have given me confidence and I might have stayed in the team and got a longer run of games. But that's just the way it goes."
