Robin van Persie expects Manchester United to spend a further £200million in this summer's transfer window.

The 31-year old Dutch striker believes the Old Trafford outfit will splash the cash in a bid to challenge Chelsea and Manchester City for the title.

Van Persie said: "United spent £200m on players last year and they are going to spend another £200m this summer so we will have a team that can compete for the title."
