Manchester United are preparing a bid for Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama. The Sunday Mail says the Old Trafford club have compiled a dossier on the Kenya midfielder and will assess him in the European qualifiers this month.
Sir Alex Ferguson has received glowing reports about Wanyama and has been informed the player wishes to seal a move to England.
Celtic will not sell until their Champions League fate is known but that is not a problem for United.
An offer of around £8million would be accepted by Celts who know Liverpool, Stoke, Queens Park Rangers and Fulham are also keen.
