Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic is happy to have topped their Champions League group.
But the 1-1 draw against Valencia meant the Reds narrowly failed to become the first team to advance from the Champions League group stage without conceding a goal.
That distinction would have been particularly proud for defenders like Vidic, who told MUTV: "We're a bit disappointed [with the result] because we obviously we wanted to keep a clean sheet and break the record.
"But the most important thing was to finish where we wanted to, first in the group, and we've done it. We'll avoid some big teams and hopefully that will help us."
