Manchester United are ready to deal in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's coaching staff.

The Mirror says Michael Carrick is on the brink of signing a new contract to help Solskjaer turn around Manchester United.

Former midfield star Carrick and fellow coach Kieran McKenna were on the coaching staff under Jose Mourinho before Solskjaer replaced him in December and will sign new deals in the next few days to stay.

But Mike Phelan has still not signed a contract to stay.
