The Sun says United are keeping close tabs one the Genk youngster after his Europe League double against Rapid Wien last week.
United have joined Manchester City and Chelsea in the race for the Jamaican prodigy.
Bailey was named as the best young player in Belgium last term and is catching the eye with his performances on the wing.
The wide man almost joined Chelsea 12 months ago and he has also caught the eye of Fiorentina and Borussia Dortmund.
