Man Utd scouts ran Nainggolan check for Roma win over Udinese

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho remains keen on Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

The Mirror says Mourinho reportedly sent scouts to Italy over the weekend to watch Nainggolan.

Manchester United's manager is a long-term admirer of the 29-year-old, who joined the Serie A side from Cagliari in 2014, and was linked with a move for him over the summer

Mourinho is understood to be making plans for Michael Carrick's retirement and the Belgium international is his first choice.

Nainggolan, who has two assists and a goal to his name in the league this season, played the full 90 minutes as Roma beat Udinese 3-1.
