Danny Welbeck is a target for Tottenham as his potential Manchester United departure looms near.
The Mirror is reporting that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino watched the 23-year old England striker in United's shock 4-0 Capital One Cup loss to MK Dons and is keen to bring him to White Hart Lane.
New Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal has reportedly told Welbeck he can leave Old Trafford this summer and it appears likely that will be the final outcome when the transfer window closes on August 31.
Welbeck, who has played for England on 26 occasions, has also been loosely linked with Tottenham's north London rivals Arsenal.
