Man Utd’s Vidic not included in Serbia squad
Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has not been included in Serbia’s squad for next month’s friendly with Australia.
The Barclays Premier League Player of the Year is currently preparing for Saturday night’s UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona at London’s Wembley Stadium so will not travel to Australia for the June 7 clash with the Socceroos at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne.
Serbia manager Vladimir Petrovic will take a 24-man squad for the trip to Asia which will begin in South Korea with a meeting with the Taeguk Warriors on June 3.
Other big names to be left out of the Beli Orlovi (White Eagles) touring party include Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic, Liverpool forward Milan Jovanovic, Birmingham City centre-forward Nikola Zigic and Juventus star Milos Krasic.
In attendance will be Inter Milan’s Dejan Stankovic, who will captain the side, along with highly-rated Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic and Manchester City left-back Aleksandar Kolarov.

Crap squad by their standards, still good enough to take us to town though.... At the world cup, Tosic was the player who knocked us out of the next round, he came off the bench and turned the game around for them. McKay will have a VERY hard time trying to control him, and concidering we have no left back with much experiance, he will give us hell down our left hand side...
