Nemanja Vidic has been named the Barclays Premier League Player of the Season.

The 29-year old Manchester United star was a rock in the centre of defence for the champions, making 34 appearances in the third-best defence in the country.

The award is the second of the like awarded to the Serbia international, following on from his 2008/09 triumph and is a nice reward for a campaign full of dedication and hard work towards the Premiership cause.
